Reimagining Our Future: From Kenya to the World
February 9th – 12th, 2026 | Global Digital Platform
The World Forum for Science-Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WFSIE) is a transformative global initiative committed to redefining the relationship between science and society. Originally envisioned as a physical gathering at Kenyatta University, Kenya, WFSIE has evolved. To ensure inclusivity, overcome systemic financial barriers, and maximize our global reach, the 2025/2026 edition will now be hosted entirely online from February 9th to 12th, 2026.
While our format has shifted, our declaration remains unchanged: Africa is not a recipient—it is a co-author of global innovation. This forum remains dedicated to spotlighting African-led science, bridging local realities with global opportunities, and nurturing a radically human approach to technology.
WFSIE is powered by Science for Humanity – Global Society, Women in Science Without Borders and Traces & Dreams AB. These organizations share the belief that the world urgently needs new spaces where knowledge, ethics, creativity, and cooperation come together to imagine and build sustainable futures.
Together, these organizations bring a wealth of global experience and local insight to co-create a forum that not only bridges knowledge and application but also fosters inclusive, transdisciplinary, and human-centered innovation.
WFSIE is rooted in the belief that the challenges of our time demand not only innovation but also imagination, cooperation, the courage to build together, and equitable partnerships. Through this transdisciplinary and human-centered approach, WFSIE brings science out of the lab and innovation and entrepreneurship out of the profit-only mindset and into a new narrative of shared futures.
Additionally, WFSIE recognizes the role of science diplomacy and equitable global partnerships as vital tools for peace, trust-building, and resilience. In a world facing division and planetary risk, science can serve as a bridge across countries, cultures, and conflicts, enabling open dialogue, equitable partnerships, and shared solutions.
Our Vision-Science with a Soul
We envision a world where science and entrepreneurship uplift humanity—where innovation heals systems, and every person is empowered to co-create knowledge and solutions.
In this future, entrepreneurship is a force for justice, and science walks alongside the humanities to nurture life, dignity, and imagination. WFSIE is a living ecosystem of knowledge creators, system disruptors, and storytellers imagining a better tomorrow.
Our Mission
We imagine a world where science, innovation, and entrepreneurship are not merely engines of growth, but forces for nurturing life, dignity, and possibility—for all people, in all places. The World Forum for Science-Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WFSIE) exists to foster a new global culture of innovation: one rooted in ethics, powered by purpose, and shaped through collaboration that transcends disciplines, geographies, and generations.
In this future, entrepreneurship is no longer confined to launching companies. It becomes a tool for healing broken systems, inspiring movements, and building futures grounded in justice and imagination. We believe every person has the capacity to create knowledge, not only consume it. In our vision, science is guided by humanity’s most urgent needs and deepest values, while technology walks hand-in-hand with the humanities toward a regenerative tomorrow.
